The story of Robins family from the blurb sounded an exciting one and reading through their trials and working out where things go wrong was good. However the killer was too obvious
I was immediately hooked when reading the first part of the book. The twists in this thriller were however a little predictable and I found all the characters a little bland.
As the plot develops you get to see why the family broke apart.
With thrillers I really expect to be shocked and for it to keep me guessing from beginning to end however this book just didn’t do that for me.
I would definitely read more from the author as I did like the writing style, it just needed a little bit more shock factor for it to be a book that I thoroughly enjoy.
