Robin comes home as her father, step-mother(ex best friend) and their daughter are hurt from a home invasion. You can learn a lot about Robin’s family’s relationship from when her sister calls.
Though the book was very interesting I feel as though the fact the Cassidy (a twelve year old) killed her mother and father was very strange and didn’t link and flow with the book.
Other than that the family problems, anxiety, betrayal and guilt made the plot of the book very entertaining and interesting but the conclusion was unsatisfactory and made the suspenseful build-up useless.
I like how the characters and their traits were slowly shown and the irony of Robin being a therapist but have anxiety herself made the book a bit more interesting.
