I first discovered Joy Fieldings books when I read “She’s Not There” and enjoyed her writing. So I was delighted to have the opportunity to review this novel and I wasn’t at all disappointed.
Robin, a psychologist is estranged from her family and has ended up with emotional problems including panic attacks. This well written book deals with her father, his young second wife and step daughter being shot in what seems to be a random house invasion and how Robin deals with that situation and her unpleasant sister.
The story line keeps your interest and the well rounded characters are believable. This well written suspenseful psychological thriller is well worth reading. I must admit I found it hard to put down!
