This book had me gripped from the cover & then the opening chapter and I enjoyed reading it throughout. I enjoyed it so much I had it read within a week or so.

Robin returns to her childhood home after receiving a phone call from her sister informing her that he father, stepmother and stepsister have all been shot in their own home, late one evening. Robin is estranged from all her family since her father married her best friend a few years earlier and this is the first time she has been home since.

The book follows the story of Robin dealing with her anxiety issues of being back home, while she acts as a detective alongside the local police, to try and work out who shot her father an his family.

I was aware this story wasn't going to be as straight forward as it was lay before me, but I genuinely didn't guess the conclusion. I tend to pride myself on working these plots and twists out, but on this occasion I didn't. I was hooked throughout.
