When I read the first impression this book really did have me gripped, I liked the sense that their was a big family issue that the main character was running away from and I couldn’t wait to find out more about it,but as I started reading the book I found I didn’t particularly like the main character I found her quite moany and weak and I just wanted to jump in the book and shake her. I also really disliked the sister and found her quite draining even to read as she is so negative but I’m fairness this is meant to be her character. Although I didn’t feel enamoured by the main character it was a decent read and was a good plot line I just felt it dragged on a bit in certain areas. However I wouldn’t completely rule it out to someone who likes crime fiction.
