There are two things that have hooked me right away about this book. One is the time frame of the late 1700s. I love reading about this time period because it was filled with true revolutionists and so many were at a time when women had no rights. This leads into my second favorite aspect of the book and that it is told in first person by an heroic take no prisoners heroine. The book cover is also very gritty and gives the sense that we are in for a Three Musketeers adventure!
