It's great to see some historical fiction with a female lead, with her sex being used as an advantage rather than as an excessive plot point. This preview is really encouraging, both as historical fiction goes, and as a work that features a female lead without excessive delicacy. There is often fear to give a woman a weapon, and whilst we are badass enough without them, it's always nice to see.
