At last a meaty historical novel. I adore the attention to detail. The story jumps between Russia and England in the 1780s.
The female main character has had a very colourful life which I can't wait to learn more about. The male character Atherton the inventor really interested me and Attica by the sounds of things. I see him as a Q type from James Bond always trying to help the spy fraternity to evade capture. This is just my style of book a historical novel written by someone who has done their research. I see this as a series.
