Upon reading the blurb for the book I was not enthralled and did not think that this would be something I’d like as books based on history can be very hit and miss.
However upon reading the sneak peek I was very surprised to find the story was fast paced and action packed and held my attention throughout.
The main character Attica is strong and easy to like. It is also interesting to see the trials and tribulations she goes through due to the era and her race.
The story is apparently based on real events and is very well written and is fast paced.
Surprisingly I would very much like to read the rest of the novel and the adventures that await Attica. In my opinion this is a very well written historical account.
