This was a fast paced and intriguing historical novel set during the early days of the French revolution – this is a period of history that has always fascinated me and it was refreshing to read a different perspective. The main female character Attica Morgan is an accomplished spy and I loved following her adventures and she is such an interesting and unique character.
The book is fast paced and full of twists and turns from the very beginning and I found it to be a fun and relatively easy read. I really enjoyed the writing style as well and I really connected with the characters. I am pleased that there will be more books in the series and I recommend this book to all lovers of historical fiction.
