Attica Morgan is deployed on a mission to trace some diamonds that belonged to Queen Marie Antoinette. It quickly becomes apparent, though, that the situation is a great deal more dangerous than she anticipated, and her plans start to crumble. The page-turning narrative style will have you gripped from the first chapter. We meet lots of interesting characters along the way, from Attica's sympathetic cousin Grace to the partner-in-crime privateer Jemmy. The first in a new series, Attica clearly has a rich background story, and we definitely want to read her next adventures too – more please!!
