Attica is a great female lead - and a swashbuckling british spy at that! - which in the specific time and location of this story is quite unusual and almost unsavoury in certain circles... I haven't read a book before with a character like her so it peaked my interest straight away. She has many angles to her personality and her history and background is intriguing.
Some modern subjects are included in this action packed book and there are some exciting twists along the way. I am interested to see what else Attica has in store for us and what new adventures await her!
I haven't given the 5th star because I found the writing style quite blunt and stunted for my liking. A lot of short sentences. I prefer a smoother flow. Otherwise a good read!
