Paris, 1789. We follow Attica Morgan, daughter of a lord and member of a high society. But looks can be deceiving, she is a secret assassin, anEnglish Spy, brimming with intelligence and fearlessness. Her new investigation focuses on the murder of a rebel in the notoriously impenetrable Bastille prison. Her mission is much deadlier than expected, and soon all hell breaks loose.

Not usually one for historical fiction, I received this copy from readers first to review. I was very pleasantly surprised! The chapters were very short which is what I like in a book, evidently very well researched too. The writing style was great, engrossing and entertaining. Overall I would rate this 4 stars as I did enjoy it but wouldn’t usually go for something like this
