I was so excited when I read the summary of this book. Female spy, set during the French Revolution and it involved Marie Antoinette lost diamonds! I had high hopes and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed! This story is fast paced and keeps you engaged and due to the writing style and the short chapters it’s really easy to read.
Attica Morgan is a complex and well developed character. Being a woman and being overlooked or underestimated works very well in her favour as she demonstrates throughout. I was very captivated by her character and was intrigued to know more about her and her backstory!
I felt the author did a good job setting the scene and bringing the story to life. I could feel the tension and the anger of the people building throughout which made it even more exciting!
Thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one!
