Her uncle, Lord Pole, wants to marry her off..something she is set totally against. Instead she is sent to France in a bid to aide Marie Antoinette and recover her jewels. But France is not the same as she remembers. Fighting and back stabbing is rife , you never know who to trust. Paris is at it's most dangerous in years, foreigners are marked as suspicious and Attica is charged with murder. How could you not love a novel with all this racing through it's pages.
