Atmospheric and beautifully written examination of a summer.

I was hugely impressed by The Temple House Vanishing and have a fondness for coming-of-age tales and teenagers on the cusp of maturity. The opening extract is beautifully written, atmospheric and held my attention from the off. There is great potential for the intricate characterisation which made the author’s first book a winner for me and I am very keen to read this second novel.
