My first impression of this book is that it will be very mysterious, taking it's time to build the story over a hazy, hot summer, and yet at the same time, creating a tension and an atmosphere that compel you to keep reading. The book cover is very striking and the extract promises an engaging writing style, so I am very much looking forward to reading this, especially in the run up to our own hazy summer.
