This definitely feels like a summer read. From the hues of the cover to the long, stretching writing. I like the fantastical gothic elements and it really appeals to me. I didn't quite like the writing style and the plot isn't very clear. I can't tell if this will be mainly magical realism or contemporary, if it's magical realism I think I'd like it. Also, the cover is absolutely stunning.
