Wow, what an opening line. Why was turning 15 so significant for Natasha, who lives an isolated life with her unconventional mother by the sea? It appears to have a supernatural element to it with Natasha seemingly being able to predict the future and see spirits. Then people start to enter her life; Mr Bowen, a handsome lodger and possible rival to Marcus?, and other visitors. Then someone goes missing. The different genres, supernatural, romance, coming of age, crime?, make this an intriguing read. Natasha and her mother are such unconventional characters, I instantly like them. Will Natasha set up without rejecting her roots? and what did happen that summer? I want to know!
