Summer Gothic... I've never heard of this sub-genre before, but I'm immediately interested!
I enjoyed the way the author introduced the character and built up to the main event with the mysterious lights. I thought the scene when Natasha tells her mother that the men will be lost at sea was chilling, and goes to show the extent of her psychic abilities.
From what I've read so far, I don't think the cover is very fitting. If you got rid of the floral pattern, the fireworks and the waves at the top, I think it would be much more powerful. Personal opinion!!
