Very intriguing, easy to read and an unusual storyline

I found the start of the story very intriguing. Natasha sounds smart and confident and older than her years I feel her character will grow as the story reads on. It is quite unusual storyline and despite the main character being only a child it seems a very grown up and adult read. I also feel like this book would suit my teenage daughter too. I mystery tale with a bit of power and sci-fi. I would really like to read this book further and enjoyed the authors previous publication also set in Ireland.
I don't think the cover suits the story, it doesn't intrigue me at all. If I am honest and would like to think I would not have judged a book by it's cover and possibly missed this on a bookshelf having said that now I have given an insight I would definitely like to read the rest.
