Even from the summary, this book and plot have my immediate attention. From the small excerpt, I already feel hooked.
This seems like an amazing coming-of-age strong wrapped in an enigma just waiting to be solved. Most books focus on characters so young that I can barely reminisce (11-13 year olds) so to have a protagonist at an age that most people remember well is very inviting.
I would love to unlock the mysteries that the write is painting with her introduction, her use of language is very welcoming and I really enjoy that, an unpretentious, down-to-earth was of writing, good for so many audiences without excluding anyone.
