Firstly the cover of this book is very appealing and lovely to look at. The story centres around fifteen year old Natasha who thinks she has psychic powers. Natasha starts the novel talking to her therapist many years later about an event that happened earlier in her life..It reads like a coming of age story and is beautifully written . I found the book had a dream like feel to it and was very easy to read. There is an array of different characters in the book who all contribute to the events in question. Natashas relationship with her mother is an important part of the novel .Also it is apparent the decisions we make as a child would be very different as an adult. Natashas decisions result in a tragedy that could have been avoided. I loved the atmosphere and the tension created throughout and would recommend to anyone who likes something a bit different.
