Having read the 'First Look' section I must tell you that I am absorbed into the story! I haven't read any of the author's previous works but the writing in this book is lyrical and beautifully done; I am certainly interested in exploring their work, in particular this book, further. The character, Natasha, certainly has a good understanding of the world she is in and I look forward to watching her character develop throughout the book as well as the characters of Marcus and Lewis - Lewis in particular seems very interesting to me and I'd like to know more of his background.
Overall, the premise of the book is an unusual compared to books I usually read but I am eager to know more from the 3 Chapters shown in the 'First Look' section. I am rather absorbed into the plot and potential outcome of what happens at the Ridge! I hope to be able to read the whole book properly and I know it will be a book I love.
