Whilst not much happens in the book, the narrative pulls you in! A woman and her daughter live in a small town, in a big house. The daughter loves to talk about her hopes and dreams but her mother discourages it. However, when she sees blue lights over a hill, she feels the need to tell others.
I would have given it five stars but I feel as though they should have been a bit more narrative drive, but personally I ddin't mind it much!
I love how the book flashes back to her life before and really shows how different and how much she has chnaged over the years.
The book is told from the perspective of the girl herself, talking to a therapist. The book talks about realtionships and events that have happened in her life when she lived in a small town. A very engaging read and I really enjoyed it, but there were a few unanswered questions, but I guess that's apart of it.
