the book is narrated by the main character - Natasha Rothwell. The story is from thirty years ago when she was only fifteen and and follows the gift she has of having premonitions, but she doesn't always see it as a gift , sometimes she wishes she is just a normal girl. She lives in a large house on the cliffs with her mother. The house is in a state of disrepair but they are not rich people , money is short. Natasha foresees tragedy and death one day whilst seeing strange clouds in the sky.
She has to learn to deal with the fact that these things happen, they are not her fault but she cannot stop the future happening.
The author sets a steady pace in this book but it will not rock your boat by pushing you to read page after page throughout the night with eager anticipation. It can be a slow pace in parts but non the less I was urged to finish the book to continue the story of Natasha to the end
