Coming of Age in the Heat of Summer

The cover is beautiful I can already tell a lot of thought was put into the creation of this book. The concept is interesting, I always love to see a unique story. Through reading the sample piece I love the writer’s style and the description. How 15 does truly feel like an odd age lost in time nothing new, yet everyone will reassure you of it’s importance. Coming of age stories are always a favorite of mine because I myself am still in that phase of life. I can tell this will be a story with importance on mother and daughter relationships, consequences, and finding your way in the world. It will bring you back to being a teenager in the heat of summer, yet let you live in a more unique circumstance of searching for a missing teenager. Searching for someone only to find yourself along the way might be a theme here. I am excited for this book and I think it will be a good read.
