I really liked Rachel's writing style it read like poetry with beautiful descriptions of a seaside town. You could easily imagine yourself there, with the main character, experiencing the sights and sounds. The book follows fifteen year old Natasha who is able to see lights but what the lights are is contested throughout the town. Straightaway in the beginning, you get a glimpse that this isn't the kind of story with a happy ending, and there are so many hidden clues that older Natasha discretely gives readers, sometimes addressing us directly, which made this book even more unique. The subtle hints to what is going to happen leaves you with more questions and wanting to find out more. An interesting book, that you can easily and quickly read as you find yourself eager to find out what will happen next. I will look out for other books by this author.
