Natalie Rothwell is seeing a therapist and this is the story of her looking over events that happened one summer when she was fifteen.
Natasha can foresee disaster and death but is encouraged to keep them secret by her mum. Natasha and her mum were living in a crumbling house in a seaside town and during that summer natasha witnesses ghostly lights in the sky which she believes is a warning that something bad is going to happen. As she is haunted about the last time she saw disaster about to happen without saying anything she decides this time to speak up. She is met with different reactions until a boy goes missing and others also see the lights. Although this book is quite slow and intense at times, it is quite gripping. It is also a coming of age about natasha's first love, friendships and relationships told how she feels and remembers that summer.
