Such a beautiful coming of age story in many ways. First of all the cover is absolutely stunning and I fell in love with the book instantly. It was great and immersive read and I haven't felt this way about a book for while so I was quite content whilst reading it.
The main character is fifteen year old Natasha Rothwell who happens to see strange lights in the sky above her town, thinking it as impending doom. She lives a quiet and sheltered life with her poor but beautiful mother until one day a handsome new lodger arrives.
