Quite a few years ago a fifteen year old girl lived on top of a hill with her mother, the girl had a gift which was preminitons and being able to see the dead. Everyone else in the town belives the girl to be a freak except for two boys who have their own issues going on within the story. Blue lights start to appear in the sky which the girl belives to be a sign of somthing to come, the girl has a bad feeling about these lights and then one of the boys goes missing.
The book is written in an almost poetic and lyrical way the writing in this book is beautiful. Throughout the book there is a tesnsion between all the characters that foreshadoes somthing bad is going to happen. The book has a gothic feel to it which adds to the teenage angst feeling within the book. The character development in this book is good and i felt like very character was well written. I enjoyed readig this book and do reccomend!
