This is such an incredible first look, and I personally felt a strong bond with the 15-year-old girl as I quickly learned how she felt about it. I think the plot is really interesting, and it was left just when the storey was getting started, and I'm dying to know what happens next and who that mysterious figure in the woods was!! The writing style was difficult for me to grasp at first, but after reading the first 10 or so pages, I was able to grasp it and eventually dig deeper into the plot we were being told.
We meet quite a few characters and learn a lot about then in such a short amount of time which means throughout the book, i can feel myself creating a personal connection to them which will make me and others more invested into the book especially once we’ve learnt what they’ve been through.
Overall i think the sneak peak is really intriguing.
