Although I didn’t get to read too far into the book, I can see that it has an enormous amount of potential into the development of the characters and the story line. I enjoy that this book is in first person, as I feel like it helps me relate to the main character and feel things on more of a personal level compared to third person when it feels as though it’s harder to see into their thoughts and feelings.
I love how it dives straight into a flashback of the main characters summer when she turned 15, I feel as though this sets the scene well and explains why she behaves as she does now. It also gives hints into that she is in therapy and the way this story is written makes you feel curious as to why this is, and makes you really interested into finding more out about these characters. I really want to read more of this book to find out the rest of the story and I am so excited to do so!
