The cover appears to be really elegant. After reading the synopsis of the book, it seems to me like it would put a lot of emphasis and meaning surrounding the relationship between a mother and a daughter. This aspect is something that I have not really seen very much in a mystery book. I also really like the aspect of consequences and it really intrigues me. I also really like how every action not only has an immediate impact but also a lasting impact. I feel like this is a topic not commonly talked about in books especially ones that are coming of age so it is really interesting to see. It seems like a concept covered in the book. It also gives a small town with close citizen vibe. This is quite a common concept within mystery books. It can also add great depth to the story. The title also adds to the suspense which just draws me into wanting to read the book even more.
