When I first saw this book I was immediately drawn towards the cover. It really is beautiful and I couldn't wait to start reading it.
The Beauty of Impossible things is about a young girl named Natasha Rothwell and when strange dancing lights appear in the sky she feels that they are a warning of impending doom.
Natasha lives with her mother by the sea, and news travel about these lights and people come to their town bringing a feeling of anticipation and fear. Mr Bowen arrives in town and threatens the balance between Natasha and her mother. A teenager goes missing and Natasha helps to find out what happened. Her actions over the summer prove to have consequences.
I found this book to be beautifully written and descriptive. Having not read any of the authors work previously, it has definitely made me want to go and read her previous and future books.
