This book has really captured the essence of a true 15 year old. Reading her work, recalled what being 15 felt like once again.
I also felt like it was easy to read, especially for young adults which this story may most intrigue. But I also believe anyone can read this coming of age and mystery fusion, which is immediately established in the first three chapters. Already the novel is rich with description and has the potential to be read on a cold winters day beside a warm fire.

The writing style does seem rather wordy, however it works with the concept of the novel. There are moments when the narrator falls into a moment of unrelated thinking but it adds to the way teenagers think. You really feel as if you are experiencing these memories and peering inside her head, whilst Natasha recalls.
All in all, I genuinely believe this story has a lot of potential and I look forward to reading the rest.
