Firstly the cover of this book is absolutely beautiful and the size of the book is perfect, hardbacks can often be too big and unwieldy. This was perfect for holding.

The story gripped me to begin with and I was pulled immediately into the strange and unsettling world of Natasha. I liked the relationship between her and Marcus and was interested to see where this went.

The truth is the book doesn’t really go anywhere. Natasha is retelling the summer she was 15 to her therapist but as her therapist cannot understand her I am not sure how we are meant to!

Natasha is an unusual child who has gifts of foresight, however as the story goes on I was less sure of how much foresight she actually had. Natasha appeared to rally struggle with her mother having a relationship and her jealousy fuelled a lot of her behaviour.

Dr Black was an intriguing addition...the book overall left me with a lot of unanswered questions. The writing was good but the story was unsettling and I am left not quite sure how I feel about it overall!
