Firstly I am extremely intrigued by the back story of the main character so far! It is written in the first person and great detail has been given about her life up to this point. Usually in the majority of books you have many questions from the start and it is only at the end of books where you fully know a character, witching these chapters we are given a good amount of information that allows us to have an immediate connection. The scene has been set in an amazing amount of detail leaving you with a perfect view of the house and the sea. I was able to immediately connect and understand the characters. Usually my opinion of characters form slowly but this writing gives you a great amount of detail but still leaves you wanting more, that good feeling of needing to read the rest of the book !
