Natasha and her eccentric mother live near the sea, disliked and not accepted by the locals they keep to themselves and get by taking in the odd lodger.
But this summer Mr. Bowen comes to stay upsetting the already delicate relationship between mother and daughter as her mother falls in love with him.
Lonely and confused with her only friend drifting away and another troubled, local boy called Lewis seeing the same ghost lights up at the ridge that Natasha has been seeing things start to change in the village.
Her strange visions are giving her scary glimpses she is struggling to make sense of.
The locals are scared and when Lewis goes missing Natasha is even more ostracised.
This was a strange, interesting tale blending the supernatural and a small towns prejudices to those who are different from themselves.
Really enjoyed this slow paced chiller.
Very creepy.
