This book captivated me from page one, surreal and compelling I found not put it down, the summer Natasha Rothwell turns fifteen is a summer she will never be able to forget. Living in a tourist seaside town with her young beautiful bohemian mother Elizabeth, and having her childhood friends Marcus and Lewis nearby too. Ever since she was small Natasha has known she was special she could see things in dreams and sometimes waking visions that had not yet happened she at the age of four or five predicted the deaths of both Marcus and Lewis's fishermen father's. Then later very sadly her friend Lewis's death too, she sees strange lights in the sky it's the start of everything an also the end, that summer she also predicts the death of her mother's lodger and lover Mr Bowen too, Natasha will never be a normal girl, and looking back on that summer all those years ago in therapy show her she was never normal to begin with. An utterly amazing book. Highly recommend!
