The book has a beautiful cover and an interesting concept but it was too slow for me to really enjoy. It's a shame as I genuinely enjoy most books (the only book I have ever hated was Doppler by Erlend Loe) and so for me this just wasn't it. I'm more than positive that many people would enjoy this but I found that I was unable to relate to the characters. Oh well, I'm sure if I gave this book a chance in a few years I might enjoy it more - just like I did with Swift by R.J Anderson which I read when I was ten years old and picked back up when I was thirteen, finding that I enjoyed it better once my brain had developed further. Maybe that's it - I just need a better developed brain - got to wait six more years until I'm 25 for my cerebral cortex to be fully established for that to happen. But seriously, the cover is actually one of my favourite shades of orange which is strange of me to say.
