Beautiful, lyrical writing and a topical story.

I was immediately drawn into this story by the beautifully lyrical prose, the author's evocative descriptions of the human cost of the war in Syria and conditions faced by traumatised refugees. I think this will, at times, be a heart-wrenching story but I sense that it is one which is also full of hope and healing. I have just used my points on another book - greedily just wish I could have had both!!
