I liked the fact that I was instantly attracted to the writing style, the language used was so precise and beautiful. I also liked the easy the book has this nice juxtaposition between the flowery language and the casual language that feels poignantly deliberate. And I don’t usually feel a lot for characters, it’s something I struggle with, I was in agony for these characters. I could feel their pain in my bones. It was so impactful.
