Just wow... a beautifully written and compelling start to what looks to be an incredibly powerful read. Telling a raw, emotionally charged tale of human plight totally relevant to the modern day, the opening really drew me in to the novel and I can't wait to read further. I think this is one of those narratives that will stay with me forever.
