This book is just simply beautiful. The writing is so stunning and I honestly cannot stop thinking about it. I didn't get into it straight away, it took about fifty pages for me to really get connected to the story (although I loved the writing the whole way through) but overall I loved it. I have already recommended this book to three friends. I have also loaned my copy to my nan because she liked The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris, and I know that a lot of people are saying that if you liked The Tattooist of Auschwitz then you will really like The Beekeeper of Aleppo. I think stories like this need to be told and I am so glad that I had the opportunity to read this, especially having the chance to read it before it was released, so thank you for this advanced review copy.
