This is not the type of book I normally go for however I loved it. I was so hooked, I was buddy reading this book and had to go on ahead!
This story was such an eye opener as to what people go through on a daily basis and it was truly heart breaking.
I felt for every single character and routed for them all! Well most of them.
I loved how the story switched from past to present, it allowed me to connect more with the story.
I would have loved a little bit more about how they got on after the interview and if they got to stay. I would have also loved to know more about what Nuri thought of the bees and how different they were to the ones in Aleppo.
I smiled and I cried while reading this book and I would definitely recommend it.
