I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found Nuris love for bees was like magic, I also learned a thing or two from Nuri extensive information on bees - it is fascinating really how much we do jot know about how bees work. Nuri and his family embarked on soul shattering journey from Syria to UK. Loss affects people in different ways and Nuri and Afra are no different, they lost their son and close members of their family plus they had to fled their home and seek safety in new unknown lands. It was a hard read yet a good one, shows that real life is not all unicorns and rainbows, life has tears, loss and also smiles in between - just like Japanese art - when a plate is cracked it is filled with gold so only then it becomes extra beautiful... Thank you for this story, I thoroughly enjoyed it and feel it is a privilege to have an insight in someone's life challenging moments shared with the public.
