This was a well written book which kept me engrossed through out. Liked the fact that you knew when you were going back in time by the way the chapters started and finished ( even though I'm not a great lover of this style of writing it kind of worked )
As the story unfolded it kept you guessing as to what was going to happen next and even the ending was a kind of surprise.
The characters were likable and engaging and you started to root for them on their journey, it gives you an insight into what people are willing to do to escape a bad and dangerous situation.
The fact that there is a small amount of truth in this story is good as it doesn't make it overly complicated to follow.
I would read another book by this author.
