I read it in two days found it difficult to put down, it was so informative and I learnt so very much.
It follows the journey taken by bee keeper Nuri and his wife Afra..and includes what is happening to other members of their family.
This sad journey starts in Aleppo in Syria and ends in England.
The difficulties encountered on their journey are so very sad and really tugs at the heartstrings.
The author of this story has given us so much enlightenment into just how difficult the lives of ordinary people can be...
people who have been trapped and affected by war in their beautiful land through no fault of their own.
It is written with much care and sympathy but does not withhold the truth.
This is not a book that one can say "I enjoyed this" as it is so sad...but it is so interesting and helps us understand the plight of others...
