This is a beautiful story of Nuri and his wife Afra living in Syria. We see their world torn apart by war. They loose everything but still have each other. Its a wonderful love story, a story of faith, courage and strength.
Nuri's love and understanding of his bees is told beautifully and this love also gives him the strength and courage to make a terrifying journey to Britain to join his cousin Mustafa.
Having lost her sight due to shock and terror Afra puts her faith in her husband to get them safely out of some terrifyingly situations and although their suffering is sometimes hard to read, the outcome is satisfying.
